Comic Review: Star Trek the Next Generation/Doctor Who #4 (IDW)

For the last three issues, the Eleventh Doctor and the Ponds have joined forces with the crew of Enterprise-D as both the Borg and Cybermen have joined forces to take over the galaxy. In issue four, the Doctor finally meets Guinan and both realize something nutty is happening with time. The Doctor and the crew of the Enterprise-D realize that the Cybermen are turning on the Borg, but when the Borg ask for help, Captain Picard refuses.

The last four issues have been a “geekgasm” and a ton of fun. Scott and David Tipton with Tony Lee have captured the feel of a “Doctor Who” episode and any classic episode of “Star Trek the Next Generation.”

The pencils by Gordon Purcell are highlighted by the excellent colors of J.K. Woodward (a personal favorite).

This was just a fun comic and an awesome issue. I give it three out of four stars. Readers can pick it up here.
