Hello Valiant fans. If you read my past review on X-O Manowar, you will know that although a huge Valiant fan myself, I spare them nothing when it comes to reviews.
With that said, Archer and Armstrong 2, PHENOMENAL BOOK!. This has a great story written by Fred Van Lente and art by Clayton Henry. The panels flow great, moving the story from point to point without leaving you lost. There is a massive amount of content pushed into this book but its balanced perfectly. We follow Archer and Armstrong as they finally find a reason to become a team. This begins their journey to recover The Boon!, a mysterious device that gave Armstrong his immortality. Its Da Vinci code meets Charlie Chaplin. A devout believer in God and also a trained assassin following a druken immortal looking for ancient relics. I could see this made into a television series with ease. If you had any doubt that Valiant was back with great story lines, I say read this and be amazed. Pick a copy up today and it will be on your pull list the next day!
About Dave Harryman
Hi my name is David Harryman. I was born in raised in Baltimore, Maryland. I am 35 years old and work as a Career Paramedic/Fire Fighter. My love of comics and movies began at a young age. I remember watching reruns of Star Trek on tv in my early years. Then Saturday morning cartoons brought me into the world of Spider-man and His Amazing Friends!. From that point on I was sold. Collecting comics, cards, and figures. As I grew older, collecting gave way to school and life. I never strayed to far from my love of comics. I stopped all together for a few years as career and family took over. Then about 2 years ago, I saw Marvel Universe figures. Here was a line of small figures that not only showed some of my most favorite characters, but also the unsung ones that you would never think to see in an action figure. Suddenly all that passion and love returned for my lost hobby. I broke out all the things I had in storage. I now have a small shop in Joppa Market open on weekends. My father and I run the place specializing in finding old figures and collectibles for those around us. We have built a reputation for delivering hard to find products at fair prices. My own collection has grown again to a respectable amount. Since then I have joined and become an integrable part of Collector's Trading Post. A Facebook community page that assist collectors in finding the collectibles we love and providing a constant stream of media info on all things comic, movie, and toy related. I'm always willing to help another collector and hope to find others that feel the same. Good Luck and Happy Hunting.
