TV Review: The Walking Dead “Sick”

If you thought the season premiere was intense, episode 2 will have you gnawing at the bone!

Viewers were left on the edge of their seats last episode with Rick having just hacked off Hershel’s leg, and having found inmates still alive in the infested prison.

The body count rises even higher in this installment as both the living and the undead take casualties. The story written by Billy Gierhart and directed by Nichole Beattie brings us further into the prison walls as Rick and company continue to deal with Hershel teetering between life and death and secure the prison which is still occupied by the undead and living.

An uneasy agreement is made between the newfound inmates and our core cast, but will both sides remain loyal to it? In the teasers for this week, Lori is seen telling Rick, “Do whatever you got to do to keep this group safe.” Watch to see how far Rick will go when he feels threatened! With Hershel near deaths door, Carol decides she needs more training to become the next person to provide medical care – and asks Glenn to help her in a shocking way!

Season 3 continues to be everything fans want from a horror drama show: life and death battles around every corner, high tension, and people doing whatever necessary to keep themselves alive. Be ready Sunday night and have the channel turned to AMC, ignore the sounds of hands clawing at the door, and prepare for the second episode of season 3 of The Walking Dead!

About Dave Harryman

Hi my name is David Harryman. I was born in raised in Baltimore, Maryland. I am 35 years old and work as a Career Paramedic/Fire Fighter. My love of comics and movies began at a young age. I remember watching reruns of Star Trek on tv in my early years. Then Saturday morning cartoons brought me into the world of Spider-man and His Amazing Friends!. From that point on I was sold. Collecting comics, cards, and figures. As I grew older, collecting gave way to school and life. I never strayed to far from my love of comics. I stopped all together for a few years as career and family took over. Then about 2 years ago, I saw Marvel Universe figures. Here was a line of small figures that not only showed some of my most favorite characters, but also the unsung ones that you would never think to see in an action figure. Suddenly all that passion and love returned for my lost hobby. I broke out all the things I had in storage. I now have a small shop in Joppa Market open on weekends. My father and I run the place specializing in finding old figures and collectibles for those around us. We have built a reputation for delivering hard to find products at fair prices. My own collection has grown again to a respectable amount. Since then I have joined and become an integrable part of Collector's Trading Post. A Facebook community page that assist collectors in finding the collectibles we love and providing a constant stream of media info on all things comic, movie, and toy related. I'm always willing to help another collector and hope to find others that feel the same. Good Luck and Happy Hunting.
