At the start of the line you had stated that the Ideal set up was to have the figures up for sale for atleast 2 to 4 weeks for all customers . Then the sub was introduced , But now you state that with the small run of Wind raiders that you feel it did just OK selling out in 4 days . I really feel that if you wanted to Judge the Success of a Vehicle you would have made Battle Ram . Why has the Model of the line changed from what you guys had stated in the start of the line? Why cant you do a online poll to see wich vehilce would be the fav of all fans and run with that one ? I think the Motuc line is doing very well for a toy line with no Ads, Movies, Cartoon , comic and ect . Also when will you respond to the many issues with Snout spout trunk ?

First off, not really looking to my generations eventual end down the road in 40-50 years, but I wonder what these future estate sales are going to be like?

Anyway, great choice. When the wife and I finally settle down into a house I hope to be versed enough in wiring and junk to build a secret panel that operates a garage/shed where we'll keep our bikes...

What do they plan on doing for those who didn't get an opportunity to buy Fisto on the last sale date becuase of the 'server glitch' (i.e. Some folks who logged on couldn't even find Fisto to purchase.)? And what are they going to do to ensure this wont happen again in the future?

Burt Reynolds was a great guest star last week. Reed took that overblown image of Reynolds in Archer's eyes and actually put it on the show and made it more overblown. This worked perfect in the show for the simple fact that everything is overblown in Archer. The one part of the episode that I thought could have bee done differently even though it did work in the show was the idol worship of the rest of ISIS over Burt. I think the conflict would have added big laughs to the show, but it still did work the way it was written as well. I can only hope the show continues on this positive of a note through the rest of the season. It makes my Friday morning bus ride home from my night shift at DISH much more enjoyable when I can get a good laugh using my sling adapter to stream my recorded show or any live channel to my iPhone wherever I am.

Thanks for mentioning TOYBIZ keeping Marvel toys alive in the 90s and setting the current standard for melding sculpt and articulation with Marvel Legends. Without that line, I doubt we would have DCUC or Marvel Universe/Legends today. Even the continued survival of MOTU the past ten years would be in doubt.

Accurate review but I disagree with two points... The open video sequence was VERY cool and although maybe loud...it reminded me of a james bond opening like GoldFinger or the last one with Jack White amd Alicia Keys...

Also I didn't feel the movie lagged at the end. I also like how it also created a complete movie that can stand alone without Daniel Craig...who is an important character thru the entire series.

Although I didn't read the book... I feel that most people complain when there are differences. Its impossible to condence 350 pages into a coherant films.

On a another note... I stand by my quote that "Books are about imagination and movies are about interpretation." Why anyone would want to see a cookie cutter version is beyond me. I happen to like the difference experiences and I feel that people who can't see past that notion are missing out and box their mind into the art of both mediums.

That's all. ;-)

I simply can't believe this is a sequel and not a reboot.

If this trailer has any redeeming value it's by far the Red Ninja/Mountain side scene--which looks like it could be cool. Other than that, hope for the best, expect the worst.

Thank goodness for my back issues and Sunbow dvds :)

Very interesting read and opinions here. Though seeing Batman on the worst list ranks up there with that time I was 10 and a mall Santa kicked me in me right in the nuts. Anyway...

How did G.I.Joe Rise Of Cobra not make it onto the worst list?? I'm a HUGE Joe fan and I can say with all honesty I think it may be one of the worst films ever made and for so many reasons. First of all (this is the classic fanboy rant right here) it didn't follow Hama's comic or Sunbow's cartoon and continuity whatsover, never mind the filecards!

I actually just deleted the 2 paragraphs I typed because as a 1st time visitor here it might be better to just say........I hate the G.I.Joe film and it looks like this summer, Santa is ready to kick me in the nuts again.

"Sell out"? Sounds like Marty! Yeah, I know Marty! Hello guys @ the face. And the Demo-Man thing is hilarious as hell.

Brain/Brian-Ozone is complete dingus posting something that can be otherwise blatantly obvious. What you didn't know the figures would slip and then there wouldn't be one there to fill-in? haha, nothing has changed in 3 years over there.

The main issues for me has been distribution, but BBTS and other online outlets have taken care of that for me. I haven't bought a single wave in stores for a long time now. You show your age with the Mego comment! I grew up with the Super Powers figures and that's my DCU as they got me into the brand. I think DCUC is pretty much geared to those of us in out late 20's/early 30's and that may be the problem for you. The Horsemen and Scott land in that age group as well.

However, DCUC always has been and always will be a line of convenience. What can we make with the parts we have. That's probably what's dictating their lineups the most. Scott finally came out I gather (hearing the rumblings on Fwoosh) that this is pretty much what the sub will be. Big figures will only utilize existing BAF parts (so much for a new larger Doomsday, or the skies the limit BS they promised). I figured this from the start and really put up my cash only to call Mattel's bluff. It seemed like the perfect opportunity for them to say that they had such wonderful things planned for us but we didn't bite (talking louder than numerous again) and I wanted to see them scramble to pull something together by helping the sub come to pass.

The proof of concept figures were weak. Beyond weak. They showed that from the start they were only half committed to the idea of a sub. This would have been the perfect time to show some new sculpts and characters demanded from the start. So the sub was there to protect us from the New 52 based retail line? Yup, a reissue, Superboy Prime, and a very easy to create from existing parts Plastic Man (I'm not buying the responses about this from the latest Q&A)? So basically retail and the sub will continue with the uninspired reuse. I guess the New 52 designs would require too many newly tooled parts anyway.

I will continue to cherry-pick as I have for the last few years, but Mattel has proven they haven't learned a thing from past failures and will continue the strip-mining techniques that has ultimately brought an end to all their non-Barbie/HW lines. Hasbro has a winner with the smaller Marvel Universe line but they have heard the fans and are trying to correct the failings of their past 6" Marvel Legends line. I've always considered Hasbro to be the superior maker of figures over the house of Barbie and I think Mattel may need to pay attention to what Hasbro's going to do, success or fail.
